Living Out of the BOX-INSPIRED
As I watched Danny MacAskill in this INSPIRED video my spirits soared and life in that moment became movement, joy and the triumph of the indominatable spirit.....that spirit that lives in all of us and finds expression where ever we allow it breath and when we create room for it to be in our reality!
Nothing in this video is atypical. Nothing in this video is impossible. It is all possible things put together in a little different way with skill and practice so that the surprise is in the execution of the usual in unusual ways.
This wonderful video comes to me from my blogger friend , Beaux, at
This Isn't Happening (http://beaux24.blogspot.com/). Stop by and say hello to Beaux and send him thoughts of health and recovery and applaud his willingness to live in the now.
Beaux was diagnosed with a terminal illness about a year ago that requires a liver transplant. Beaux, his wife Lois and their two girls are waiting ...and living.
Check out what Beaux calls his blog ramblings. To me they are brave war crys of a family living as fully as possible in the moment. Thanks Beaux!
Love and hugs!
This quote on Beaux's side bar says much to me.
"Did we come here to laugh or cry?
Are we dying or being born?"

i'm still there with what i wrote yesterday... we are but here fleetingly, we are not invincible and don't leave the world with a huge big impression by our having been here. but we do have the privilege to touch and colour the world around us. it's our choice whether we do this in a positive or a negative way...
We alone are responsible for our own actions whether they are positive or negative. People seem to blame others when things go wrong but at the end of the day it is our own actions that sets the course of our life.
Lovely to see you back.
Yvonne.
Go, Danny! This out-of-the-box livng is truly inspired!
Amazing video. Thank you for introducing Beaux. I stopped by to say "Hi!" to him.
I have to agree with Shadow. Life is so very short and we never truly know when it ends for each of us. I rather be remembered for having shared compassion and beauty, than being the ugliness that invaded someone's life. (Hugs)Indigo
~Linda,
Like so often it is easy to turn away and say, "Later."
Staring at adversity is a hard road to wander.
It always makes me wonder what we've denied ourselves out there in life.
What calls we have all wrong.
And what we might be capable of.
It makes me wonder what I've left behind and what we all fore go.
Thanks for the kind words friend.

I love this video, Linda! Thank you for sharing it. It's inspirational!
Some of us choose to follow the off-the-beaten-paths, some of us shake in fear, and some of us draw it all in and hold it dear.
i will visit beaux soon...
i have not watched the video yet... it is filtered from here..
should see what i can do about it...
:)
and what's happening in my life out of the box?
hmmmm... i have a strange life... it's like a Klein bottle... out and in are one...
;)
nowadays the image of a pair of scissors is on my mind... scissors cut... trim... divide... open... what else do they do?
oh... no! no! i don't like horror movies...
:D
I can't play the video because I am at work, so I am going to play it when I get home.
I am always amazed at the courage and bravery demonstrated by people on a day to day basis. It makes some folks' problems seem like teeny little ant hills in comparison.

I love this quote, and I had never heard it before. It's wonderful, and so true!
Your post has inspired me today. :-)
Linda--thanks for the video and the link Beaux... so many people living amazing meaningful lives. Out of the box... hmmm ( loved the visual, BTW) this is getting me thinking about the box (es) I might be creating for myself and others.... what box( es) am I in. I need to think on this some more. Good prompt!
What a great video!! Truly inspiring!! Love your blog!!
Thank you, Linda. This is an inspiring post. I'll go say hello to Beaux. Big hugzzzz to you, my special friend~
Inspiring video.
I agree with the general theme of conversation on this topic, i believe you can do whatever you want to do. You just need determination/hope, your life isn't to blame on other people. It is all about yourself & what you make of it, most of society are just lazy!

Hi Linda, I live outside of the box as much as possible...but the box is also comfort! It's a bit like decorating your house; eventually, you might move but it's nice to enjoy the confined space sometimes.
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog-and I love visiting you on facebook!
Shadow
I love the sentence about the privilege to touch and colous the world around us..and you are so right...how we do it is our choice.
Thanks Yvonne
Actions arecourwe setters. Thanks for the nice note

Much thanks. Loved your comment! Your blog often inspires me and I am glad to be a source for you!
Linda, and to think, all I want to do is to live honestly. It shouldn't take quite as many tricks, I hope.
My children will love this! I will be back.

Our lives are a choice. This video reminds me of that, of possibility, of grasping it and living it every single moment.
Thank you for sharing this video and for visiting my blog. Stop by anytime for a chocolate chip waffle!
Linda you are always thinking of others with your kind and gentle heart. *hugs*
I was so much more inclined to attempt the "impossible" when I was younger. I'll have to see what I can do to remedy the long lapse. :)
Danny and Beaux are true inspirers of living life the way it should be lived! Love and Kudos to both!
Living out of the box...what a wonderful way to express ourselves. Linda, this is a fabulous post. Thank you so much! Beaux and his family are brave and motivating. God bless them so much!
What is going out of the box with me at this time (which is very special) is that I am trying to be myself for the first time in my life, myself for real, not letting fear neither habits stop me.
That idea gives me hope.
Hi Linda,
what is out of the box for The art of Jesse?
Name it, and you will probably guess it correctly. Staying in touch darling.
